The Saskatchewan Indian Training Assessment Group Inc. (SITAG) is currently undergoing a period of change and transition into its own stand-alone organization and we are looking for a visionary leader ready to shape the future of Indigenous training and employment in Saskatchewan and beyond. We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and values-driven President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to build and lead our organization into its next chapter of growth, innovation, and impact, this includes initially support the project management, governance and organizational transition to create the new independent organization.
About SITAG
SITAG is a respected Indigenous organization committed to empowering First Nations communities through training, employment, and strategic partnerships. We work collaboratively with governments, academic institutions, and human service agencies to create pathways to success for Indigenous peoples across Canada.
The Role
As CEO, you will report directly to the Board of Directors and be responsible for the overall health, performance, and strategic direction of SITAG. You will lead a talented team, foster key partnerships, and ensure the delivery of high-impact programs and services. This is a high-profile leadership role requiring executive presence, strategic foresight, and a deep commitment to Indigenous values and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of SITAG’s strategic and operational plans.
- Foster strong relationships with First Nations, government bodies, academic institutions, and other stakeholders.
- Champion innovation, continuous improvement, and organizational excellence.
- Oversee financial planning, risk management, and compliance.
- Support and guide the Board of Directors in governance and strategic oversight.
- Promote a culture of respect, collaboration, and transformational leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration or a related human services field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 10 years in management/administration, with at least 5 in senior leadership.
- Proven success in leading complex, multi-million dollar organizations.
- Deep understanding of Indigenous communities, employment networks, and training pipelines.
- Expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and organizational development.

Compensation
Remuneration is competitive and finalized annually with the Board of Directors.
