Urban Employment Agency Information
The SITAG First Nations Employment Agencies in Urban areas are operated by local Tribal Councils under the 1996 FSIN Urban Protocol Agreement
MEMBER NATIONS
Each Tribal Council operating a SITAG Urban Agency is cromprised of a collective of local Nations. Urban Agencies serve not only their own Nations memberships, but all Canadian First Nations people in Saskatchewan urban centres.
The following Tribal Councils serve the following Nations in their Urban areas, and all other Canadian Status First Nations people:
- The Battlefords Areas
- Battlefords Tribal Council – Serving Poundmaker First Nation, Lucky Man Cree Nation, and all status First Nations in Battlefords urban areas
- Battlefords Agency Tribal Chiefs – Serving North Battleford & Battleford urban members of Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation, Moosomin First Nation, Red Pheasant Cree Nation, Sweetgrass First Nation, Stoney Knoll First Nation, Saulteaux First Nation, Little Pine First Nation, and Mosquito Grizzly Bear’s Head Lean Man First Nation, and urban members from out of territory First Nations.
- Prince Albert Area
- Prince Albert Grand Council – Serving Wahpeton Dakota Nation and all status First Nations in Prince Albert area.
- Regina/ Moose Jaw Areas
- Regina Treaty/ Status Indian Services & First Nations Employment Centre – Jointly operated by the File Hills Qu’Appelle Tribal Council & Touchwood Agency Tribal Council, and serving urban status First Nations people in the Regina area.
- Saskatoon/ Martensville/ Warman Areas
- Saskatoon Tribal Council – Serving Kinistin Saulteaux Nation, Muskeg Lake Cree Nation, One Arrow First Nation, Yellow Quill First Nation, Muskoday First Nation, and Whitecap Dakota First Nation and urban status First Nations people in the greater Saskatoon area.
- Yorkton Area
- Yorkton Tribal Council – Serving Cote First Nation, Keeseekoose First Nation, Ocean Man First Nation, and the Key First Nation and urban status First Nations people in the Yorkton area.
