SITAG’S PARTNERS & PARTNERSHIP INITIATIVES
Working together to support the First Nations workforce in Saskatchewan
Supporting Partnerships
SITAG’s Supporting Partnerships initiative was introduced in 2024 as a collective strategy among Saskatchewan’s First Nation Employment Agencies of the SITAG Network and communities, educators, employers, & industry for labor market priority forecasting and project development.
This is accomplished through SITAG’s PROSPER Table Initiative – common planning tables throughout Saskatchewan to collaboratively build labor market priorities, investments, public policies, and regional skills development initiatives. This is in an effort to strengthen SITAG’s work in building the First Nations workforce of Saskatchewan.
Prosper Tables
PRomoting Opportunity through Strategic Planning and Employment Resources
The PROSPER Tables bring together community members, employers, educators, and service providers to collaborate on building stronger pathways to employment and training. These roundtable discussions provide a space to identify workforce needs, share local realities, and explore opportunities for partnership.
Each region hosts its own PROSPER Table, where local voices guide the conversation on mentorship, essential workforce skills, and innovative approaches to training and certification. These regional insights are then elevated to a Provincial PROSPER Table, which is made up of government and association leaders with the ability to influence policy and drive systemic change.
By connecting local realities with provincial decision-makers, the PROSPER Tables ensure that solutions are both community-driven and supported at a policy level. Together, they strengthen connections across communities and industries, helping to create sustainable opportunities for growth and success
